Aesthetics

The last couple of years has seen changes to Section J of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) that requires both the window frame and glass be assessed to determine the energy efficiency of a window system.

This has posed a challenge for architects and designers and forces them to use high performing products or compromise on the design of a building in order to meet energy requirements. Altering the design of the building may include reducing the size of already existing windows, that offer panoramic outdoor views or even worse, eliminating the number of windows altogether.

With the ClimateGuard system, architects and designers don’t have to compromise on design in order to meet current energy efficiency requirements. ClimateGuard offers design flexibility and allows architects
to on focus on creating functional, stylish spaces with expansive glazing solutions. Confident in the knowledge that ClimateGuard window and door systems easily meet energy efficiency provisions.
